Winter holidays and events bring a season of increased social activities. This can bring about feelings of joy & connection, but can also lead to stress around family dynamics and expectations.

But it does not need to be like that.

Ashleigh Keizer, Registered Clinical Counsellor

Ashleigh is a trauma-informed counsellor who works with Individuals and Couples. She finds particular joy in her work when she and her clients notice small, incremental changes resulting in healing. Every person is unique in their experiences, and with that in mind she integrates a person-centered approach into sessions. This means that as humans, she believes that everyone is biologically wired for connection. Healing traumatic experiences through dual awareness, while incorporating several perspectives such as Somatic approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Attachment-based and Culturally Sensitive invaluable in Ashleigh’s approach. Ashleigh’s areas of focus include trauma, anxiety & depression, shame, boundaries, parenting & attachment and couples’ work.

Ashleigh runs her own virtual private practice and is also the Clinical Director at the Panorama Wellness Group. Ashleigh’s favourite thing to do is hang out with her family.
