Hello colleagues,
I hope this is okay to post here. I am an RCC and the Vice President (Wellness) for the BC School Counsellors’ Association (BCSCA) and I am currently working on a project to help connect and support school counsellors through a model of peer consultation. It is something I have been working towards/on since completing my PhD in Health Sciences in 2019 for which my main finding was that teachers (including school counsellors) really appreciate the time and space to work through challenging emotions and experiences collaboratively. We had a semi-official launch on October 20 when I led an experiential pre-conference session on this at the BCSCA conference. Poking around on the BCACC site this evening, I found this group and am wondering if anyone might be interested in getting connected to this project. I am always looking for more perspectives. 🙂

I am very interested in this project. As the only elementary school counsellor in my small district a larger network will be greatly appreciated.
