About Dr. Adele Lafrance
Dr. Adele Lafrance, PhD, is a clinical psychologist, research scientist, and developer of emotion-focused treatment modalities, including Emotion Focused Family Therapy.
She has published extensively in the field, including co-authoring a clinician’s manual for the American Psychological Association, as well as a best-selling book for parents titled: What to Say to Kids When Nothing Seems to Work.
With affiliations worldwide, Adele supports the ongoing development and research of caregiver-focused interventions and delivers training to helping professionals across a variety of sectors. She is perhaps best-known for her advocacy for family-oriented models of care across the lifespan. A best-selling author of a popular book for parents, Adele is also active in the research and practice of psychedelic medicine.Â
