Hi Jenny and the rest of the group! I’m Dawn Serra. I’m in year 2 of my Master of Counselling program at City University. My trained in Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, OEI, and a few other modalities. I specialize in pleasure, body trust, trauma, eating disorder recovery, and self-worth for folks in larger/fat bodies. I’ve recently been geeking out on CPTSD and I’m interested in practicing radical, liberatory counselling that is non-pathologizing, feminist, queer, and anti-capitalist. I can’t wait to connect with you all! (I am also going to be opening a group therapy practice in 2023 called Tend and Cultivate which will specialize in mental health for people in larger bodies – WOOHOO!).
