  • Topics in General RCC Discussions vs. Communities – what's the difference?

Welcome to eConnect and we’re happy to see you here. I wanted to provide some information on how we have structured these groups to give you an idea of how to use this space for conversation and connection.

When we were creating this platform, we recognized that RCCs have requested opportunities to connect with each other based on both topic matter AND also by the community of counselling in which they practice.

Communities allow you to find your counselling “people” and to have work specific conversation with each other.

Topics allow you to engage in broader conversations about certain facets of counselling, such as “remote counselling” or “grief and loss”.

If you feel there is an opportunity to create either a community or a topic that you don’t see here – let us know. We will post polls once a month with suggested ideas. Any ideas that receive 20 member votes will be created.

Please submit your ideas to BCACC Education Coordinator.

We look forward to hearing from you!
