Hello Yiana, thanks for your submission.

In my experience on separation anxiety, one strategy is to develop a daily comforting routine when the child is off to school and again when the child gets back home. This could include providing the child with a stuffed toy, a book or even a jacket or lunch box with their favourite character. When they arrive home, there could be a routine of spending some time at a nearby park, going for a snack and chatting about their day or something along that scope. Separation anxiety is quite common in young children and it creating a comforting rhythm when the child leaves and arrives will gradually ease the discomfort.
