Many RCCs find themselves in private practice, only to realize it requires business-minded thinking they may not have anticipated.

This workshop is designed for those running their private practice and finding some aspects of the business side challenging.

This panel discussion features two seasoned RCCs who are dedicated to mastering the business of private practice. Constance Lynn Hummel (The Business of Helping) and Stephanie Davis (Shoreline Counselling and host of “A Not So Private Practice” podcast) shared their expertise on tackling the day-to-day business challenges of running a successful practice.

Offered as a panel discussion with a Q&A session, this workshop explored strategies to help RCCs manage the many aspects of running a practice, building a strong professional network, and developing strategies for sustainable practice management.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:

Stephanie Davis 

Stephanie is the co-owner and co-Clinical Director of Shoreline Counselling, a large and ever-growing group private practice based in Vancouver and Fort Langley. In addition to carrying a small caseload of individual clients, she works with counsellors both in a clinical capacity as an Approved Clinical Supervisor and as an Associate Certified Coach in leadership and business development. 

She has a Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology and a Certification in Organizational Coaching Certification from UBC. She is an RCC and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Stephanie also has clinical training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and advanced training in Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy (SAP).

Constance Lynn Hummel

Constance Lynn Hummel MA is an award-winning Psychotherapist, Leadership Coach, Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator, and Business Strategist. In addition to running her own thriving private practice for the past 11 years, she is also Founder at The Business of Helping. There, through virtual workshops, group training programs, and individual coaching, she has helped hundreds of counsellors plan, build, launch and grow their own practice practices.
