Sponsor an RCC to Attend the Regional Workshops

The message is clear

Many counsellors doing essential trauma work in underserved communities often face the greatest barriers to accessing professional development. These practitioners are deeply committed to their clients but may lack institutional funding or extra resources for training and the travel costs involved.

Our solution:

We have heard from the community that some of you would welcome a way to directly support other Registered Clinical Counsellors who want to attend our training but face financial barriers. BCACC will use your contributions to fund seats at the event for qualifying RCCs.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a fund that sponsors RCCs for whom training, associated travel, and loss of work costs can be a barrier; particularly those working in community-based, rural, or non-profit practice settings.

About the Training:

BCACC’s Regional Workshops focus on practical, evidence-informed training for counselling practice. This year’s sessions are centred on Advanced Trauma Training which is pertinent to all practitioners and directly responsive to current needs within our clinical counselling/psychotherapy communities.

This is one of the ways we bridge the gap: expanding access for more RCCs, strengthening the counselling workforce, and supporting colleagues working in rural settings.
