Edge Benefits Lunch & Learn

Since 2018, BCACC offers our members an opportunity to enroll in the Individual Health & Dental, Disability and Critical Illness insurances through the Edge Benefits. The Health & Dental plans are designed to reduce medical, drug and dental costs for individuals and their families and to cover unexpected high-cost health expenses.

She has worked with many self employed, small/medium sized businesses and with the Community Services non-profit sector. Stephanie truly enjoys providing BCACC Members the information and guidance and looks forward to continuing to support our Association and our Members.

Any member can enroll in the health & dental benefits including students or retired BCACC members and there are no medical questions to answer to apply.

For self employed RCC’s, the Loss of Income Disability benefits would provide a tax-free monthly benefit if member is unable to work due to an illness/injury or accident.

We invited Stephanie Ritchie, BCACC Benefit’s Advisor and Wade Dabrowski VP of Sales Edge Benefits, to a Lunch & Learn information session where she and Wade will provide information and address the most common questions that they get from BCACC members.

What we covered:

  • What’s included and available add-ons (many Benefits are non-medical)
  • Who can purchase it
  • Why is Disability insurance important for self-employed/small business owners and what is the difference between Disability and Critical Illness benefits.
  • The difference between Individual Health & Dental and Group/Employee benefit plans
